Docu PrintFleet: (remote) realtime printer management
With its new Docu PrintFleet service, OSN meets the growing need of customers to manage their printing costs even better. The time-consuming supply of meter counts by customers and the subsequent manual handling and administration thereof, is now history. The Docu PrintFleet system also takes care of remote reading of cartridge levels, ink levels plus error messages of machines, in order for OSN to deliver a more proactive service that enables customers to reach a higher productivity in printing and copying.
The Docu PrintFleet software consists, among other things, of an intelligent Docu PrintFleet Data Collection Agent (DCA) software that is installed and configured at the customer's site in less than 10 minutes, without requiring changes to the client's network. The software automatically collects data from all machines in the network and then sends these via a secure internet connection to the Docu PrintFleet Enterprise server at OSN that takes care of data processing and reporting. The Docu PrintFleet software is manufacturer indepent and supports, apart from OSN's home brands Canon, Lexmark and HP, also all other brands of copying systems, multifunctional machines and printers.
What does this mean for you?
- Saving time - no more manual supply of meter counts
- Reporting of print volumes on all machines - The Advanced Volume Report enable the customer to retrieve the use per period, per machine or for the total equipment. These can then be put in a nice layout in PDF format or be sent as csv (Excel) document for further editing.
The costs
The costs of Docu PrintFleet comes to only € 12,00 per machine per year. For administrative reasons, the invoicing of this amount will take place once a year only around the 1st of October. At that time a 'snapshot' will be made (counting the number of machines at the particular moment) and that number will be invoiced for the coming 12 months.
